meet karlie
Karlie has been working in the creative field for over 10 years. After earning a degree in fashion merchandising from Indiana University, Karlie was hired by a reputable fashion PR firm & showroom to assist in styling their designer's runway looks during New York Fashion Week. This position soon evolved into a full-time role as the lead showroom boutique merchandiser and stylist. This was Karlie’s first taste of using her talents in a visual arts format, and it didn't take long for her to know that her career would always involve visual styling.
After learning the ins-and-outs of the NYC fashion scene, she returned to her hometown of Washington, D.C. where she worked for several years as the Visual Manager for Anthropologie planning their large scale visual displays, creating merchandising layouts for their apparel and home goods, and styling their famous elaborate window displays. In 2015, Karlie re-directed her visual and event planning skills to the non-profit sector as the Development and Events Coordinator with Providence Health Foundation. While working at Providence, Karlie took on side interior styling projects to continue furthering her love of design and the arts.
In 2017, Karlie finally took a leap and created her own styling agency, Karlie Rebecca Creative Consulting. She loves using her passion and expertise to create incredible spaces and events for her clients.
FAQS:
1. If I’m only looking to make small, quick aesthetic upgrades to my home, is this possible, or do I have to use all of your “Interior Styling” services?
We can absolutely take on any project big or small! The services listed only need to be fully executed for larger interior or event projects. Otherwise, we can work with clients to customize a service package specifically for their needs.
2. What kind of spaces meet your qualifications for an interior client?
Whether it is a single family home, condo or an office - if it has walls, we can work our magic to transform it into the space of your dreams.
3. Do you provide organizational services for your interior clients as part of your process?
Absolutely. While this is not listed as a specific “service”, most clients need a hand reducing clutter and chaos, which is a factor considered in most project proposals. With smart organization, we can completely transform any small space or closet to meet the client’s needs, while also being functional and beautiful. 4. How do you usually structure your services and timeline?
Most styling services depend on scale of event, budget and timeline. With that said, all visuals will be constructed in-house, or I will partner with other vendors/creative professionals to execute and achieve optimal results for the client.
